During the episode, Conor Bradley twisted his ankle and fell to the ground after clearing the ball. Gabriel Martinelli, thinking that he was lying near the sideline to waste time, tried to push him off the field. This action caused protests from Liverpool players and a mass confrontation arose on the field. As a result, Bradley left the stadium on crutches.

Martinelli later wrote on social media that he had texted Conor and apologized to him. He stated that he did not realize that the opposing player was seriously injured in the heat of the battle and deeply regrets his reaction.
