French club PSG has requested that their match against "Marseille" in the fifth round be postponed to Tuesday.
"Report" reports, citing L'Equipe, that the "Marseille" management has stated that they will sue Ligue 1 if the proposal is accepted.
Initially, the match was supposed to take place in Marseille on Sunday. However, the meeting was postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions.
Later, the PSG side said they would not be able to attend the scheduled meeting on Monday because they were attending the "Golden Ball" ceremony.
In this case, if the match is postponed until Tuesday, "Marseille" has the right to sue the French Professional Football League (LFP). Because the regulations stipulate that a match that is not completed or postponed due to weather conditions must be played the next day.
