"I spent four successful and wonderful years at "Qarabağ". This was stated by Montenegrin national team player Marko Vešović in an interview with his country's press, reports Sport24.az.
The 33-year-old flank defender said that it was difficult to play for the Aghdam representative:
"Because the club's ambitions increased from season to season. But the quality and results were visible both in the local championship and in Europe. We won four titles, played against "Bayer" in the 1/8 final stage of the Europa League. As the club grew, I also grew as a player. But I got bored and felt that I needed new motivation. I decided not to continue. I am grateful to everyone in the club, I wish them all the best."
Vešović said that he has many offers:
"But now I want to enjoy a vacation that I couldn't take in previous seasons. I expect to have concrete negotiations in the next ten days. I want to continue my career in a strong league, and also play in a place where my family can live peacefully and closer to Montenegro."
It should be noted that Marko Vešović, who has been playing for "Qarabağ" since 2021, left the club at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
