Los Angeles Galaxy of the United States has officially announced the extension of midfielder Marko Reus' contract.
"Report" informs that the new contract signed with the 36-year-old German footballer is valid until December 2027.
Reus, who joined the team in August 2024, has contributed to 22 goals (goal+assist) in 42 matches and played a key role in the club winning the MLS Cup in 2024. The experienced player, who appeared as captain in two of the first three games of the current season, made the assist for his team's first goal in the 2026 campaign.
It should be noted that before moving to Los Angeles Galaxy, Reus played for Borussia Dortmund, where he scored 170 goals and 131 assists in 429 games. During his career, he was twice named German Footballer of the Year, won the German Super Cup three times, and the German Cup twice.
