Marko Jankovic: We are focused on winning and playing in the final

These words were said by Montenegrin football player of "Qarabağ" Marko Jankovic.

The 31-year-old midfielder commented on the 2:2 draw with "Sabah" in the first match of the semi-final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup.

"It was an interesting match. Playing in such an atmosphere creates a pleasant impression. We were even more pleased with the large number of fans. I don't want to say anything specific about the result. We have played against them in various tournaments - both in the Premier League and in the cup. They have a good squad. We analyzed the opponent well, and at the same time "Sabah" was seriously preparing for the game. They go to every match with a special desire. This is football - sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. We will analyze this game and try to prepare better for the next game. We must focus on the second game. We have 90 minutes ahead of us, nothing is over. It is difficult to talk about the result now. It is difficult to play against such an opponent. "Sabah" is a team with high qualities. We must be ready for the return match. We are only focused on winning and playing in the final," he said in his statement to teleqraf.az.

Jankovic did not want to talk about refereeing:

"I don't want to talk about it. As a team, we don't focus on such matters. We are not interested in this. Our goal is clear - to reach the final and win the cup."

It should be noted that the return match between "Qarabağ" and "Sabah" will be held on April 22 at "Bank Respublika Arena".
