The condition of Qarabag's injured footballer Marko Jankovic is serious.
Idman.biz reports that Anar Hajiyev, the head of the club's press service, told GOL.az about this.
"The initial assessment of Marko Jankovic's injury was that it was a muscle spasm. That is, there was such a possibility in the game with Benfica. Later, an MRI scan revealed that the injury was more serious. After the examination, it was determined that it was a quadriceps strain diagnosis. It will take approximately 6 weeks for Jankovic to return to the team," the club official said.
This means that the Montenegrin midfielder will miss the Champions League matches against Copenhagen (Denmark) on October 1 and Athletic (Spain) on October 22.
It should be noted that Marko Jankovic was injured in the 77th minute of the first round match of the UEFA Champions League against Benfica.
