Crystal Palace defender Mark Guehi has left the England squad and will miss the World Cup 2026 qualifier against Albania.

The defender joined the 'Three Lions' at Tottenham Hotspur's training ground this week but has returned to his club to continue his rehabilitation. The official website of the England national team reports that Thomas Tuchel will prepare to travel to Tirana with a squad of 24 players.
England are top of Group K in World Cup 2026 qualifying with 21 points. They have already secured their place in the tournament.
