Italian striker Mario Balotelli will continue his career in the Middle East.
According to "Report", citing journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the experienced striker has agreed to join the Al-Ittifaq club.
The 35-year-old footballer has been without a team since leaving Genoa in July 2025. After a few months break, Balotelli has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al-Ittifaq, who are currently last in the UAE Premier League, the country's second strongest division.
The transfer is expected to take place on January 12.
It should be noted that the new club president, Pietro Latertsa, who took office in the fall of 2025, made his first transfer decision in the person of Balotelli.
