Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is being considered by "Manchester City" as a future replacement for Pep Guardiola.
According to Idman.Biz, citing "The Athletic", the 45-year-old Italian specialist is one of the main candidates for the "City" club if Guardiola leaves in the summer of 2026.
According to numerous informed sources, the likelihood that this season will be Guardiola's last at "City" is increasing. The final decision will most likely be made closer to the end of the season.
Maresca, who previously worked in Manchester City's youth team and in Pep's staff, is popular among club management and is expected to be the main candidate if a coaching vacancy arises, but he will not be the only candidate for this position.
Guardiola's contract with "City" runs until the summer of 2027, while Maresca's contract with "Chelsea" runs until 2029.
