Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca praised his team for their quality of play ahead of the English League Cup quarter-final match against Cardiff City, despite injuries to key players.
Idman.Biz reports that the match will start at midnight tonight.
"Out of 16 Premier League games, we played 11 without our best player Cole Palmer, five without Moises Caicedo, and all of them without Levi Colwill - all of these players are incredibly important to the team, so I would like to praise my players: despite so many injuries, we are still in the game.
Our best player, Cole, has been unable to play for almost the entire season. If you take the best player from Arsenal, Manchester City, or Liverpool, the result would be the same, so you have to consider the rest of the team.
Caicedo can play, he's finally back. If we decide he needs to play, he will play," Maresca said on the Londoners' official website.
