Marcus Rashford is close to moving from Manchester United to Barcelona.
İdman.biz reports with reference to "The Athletic" that the Catalan club has reached an agreement to loan the striker until the summer of 2026, with the right to complete the transfer later.
Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick has confirmed the move and personally spoke with the 27-year-old English footballer. The club sees Rashford as a versatile striker who can play both on the wing and in the center. This has become especially relevant against the backdrop of unsuccessful attempts to transfer Luis Diaz and Niko Williams staying at Athletic.
Rashford spent last season on loan at Aston Villa, scoring 4 goals in 17 games, but ended the season early due to injury. He has not appeared for Manchester United since December and has stated that he is ready for a new challenge in his career.
