The 40-year-old goalkeeper won the fan vote on UEFA's website. The German goalkeeper stood out with crucial saves in his team's 2-1 victory over Real Madrid.
It should be noted that Manuel Neuer beat Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya, PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Atletico striker Julian Alvarez to be named player of the week.
