"Manchester United" is considering a transfer for "Wolverhampton's" 27-year-old central midfielder, Joao Gomes. The Brazilian footballer has attracted the attention of the "Red Devils". Sport24.az, citing "Caught Offside", reports that the club believes he can strengthen the squad after Casemiro's departure.
"Manchester United" does not yet want to start negotiations with "Wolverhampton". They are waiting for the "Wolves" to be relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season. This will greatly simplify the negotiation process and lower the player's price.
It should be noted that Gomes has played 35 matches for "Wolverhampton" this season, scoring one goal and providing three assists. His current contract with the club runs until 2030, and "Transfermarkt" estimates the player's market value at 35 million euros.
