"Manchester City" will offer a new contract to Rodri, the owner of the "Golden Ball". Sport24.az reports that insider Fabrizio Romano announced this on his X social network account.
The new contract is expected to last until the summer of 2029.
Rodri may become the highest-paid player in the English club after striker Erling Haaland.
It should be noted that 29-year-old Rodri has been playing for "Manchester City" since 2019. His current contract expires in the summer of 2027. The Spanish midfielder almost missed last season due to a torn cruciate ligament.
