"Manchester City" has set a new record.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, on December 17, the "cityzens" defeated "Brentford" and advanced to the semi-finals of the English League Cup.
Since Pep Guardiola started as head coach in 2016, this is Manchester City's 13th appearance in the semi-finals of the English Cup. This is a new achievement for the club.
It should also be noted that under the leadership of the Spanish specialist, "Manchester City" has won all the English League Cups in which they have reached the semi-finals.
The "cityzens"' record in the English Cup is not so successful, with only two wins out of eight semi-final matches.
