The first round match of Group A of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage between Mali and Zambia has ended.
Idman.Biz reports that the teams played at the "Stade Mohamed V" stadium (Casablanca, Morocco). The game ended in a 1:1 draw.
In the 41st minute, Mali's striker El Bilal Toure failed to convert a penalty. In the 61st minute, winger Lassin Sinayoko put Mali ahead. In the 90+2 minute, Zambian striker Patson Daka equalized.
Earlier in Group A, Morocco defeated the Comoros Islands. The second and third round matches in Group A will be held on December 26 and 29. The final of the tournament will be on January 18.
