Almost all articles of the AFFA Disciplinary Code have been amended.
This was stated to "Report" by Erkin Huseynov, chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the national association.
He stated that the updated Disciplinary Code has been further improved legally:
"There have been many changes in this document. I will not be able to talk much about the details. Almost all of them have changed, from the 1st article to the last. These are not only related to the amounts of penalties."
E.Huseynov compared the document with the previous one:
"When you look at the legal theory, it already looks like a Disciplinary Code. The previous one was a bit superficial. The current version has been improved by lawyers together with the members of our committee."
It should be noted that AFFA announced yesterday that the Disciplinary Code for the 2025/2026 season has been updated. It was stated that the new version has been improved structurally and legally, and the existing terminology has been expressed more accurately and systematically.
New concepts have been added to the Code, the scope of disciplinary violations has been expanded and clarified, and the types and application mechanisms of disciplinary measures have been clearly regulated.
