Having beaten "Petrocub" (Moldova) 2:0 away in the first match of the II qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, the "Sabah" team has done half the job ahead of the return match.
This was stated to "Report" by the former coach of the Azerbaijani national team, Mahmud Gurbanov.
The specialist thinks that "Sabah" has done half the job:
"If we compare it with this match, for example, "Sabah" was better in the away game with "Sele". This may be due to the opponent being a Moldovan team. But in any case, they scored goals and won. In my opinion, they achieved a good result for the return match. Nevertheless, the opponent is a Moldovan club, you should not relax. I think they have done half the job."
M. Gurbanov said that the Baku club should dictate in the home match:
"Sabah" showed struggle, activity and desire. "Petrocub"'s goalkeeper also saved his team from goals several times. But on the other hand, the goalkeeper made a mistake in both goals. Everything depends on the result. In any case, the team's head coach knows better how they should play in Azerbaijan. They will probably analyze yesterday's game. I think that "Sabah" should be the dictating side at home."
It should be noted that the return match between the teams will be held on July 31 at the "Bank Respublika Arena" in Masazir.
