Azerbaijan national team footballers are hoping for a successful result in the match against Ukraine.
According to "Report", this was stated by Mahir Emreli, a football player of the Azerbaijan national team.
The attacker shared his thoughts on the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against the Ukrainian national team:
"A tough game awaits us tomorrow. The team has very good players. We, in turn, want to perform successfully. With the successful result we achieve, we want to make the Azerbaijani people forget the defeat to Iceland."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Ukraine match will take place on September 9 at 20:00 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium.
