"All members of the team fought on the field. We all did our best for a good result, but it didn't work out." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by Azerbaijani national football player Mahir Emreli in his statement to journalists after the friendly match in which they lost 1:2 to Hungary.
He stated that the result was not due to the game: "Hungary is a good team. We couldn't win. But I think today's game can motivate many of us in future matches."
It should be noted that in the first friendly match held on June 7, our national team drew 0:0 with the Latvian national team in Riga.
