"This is not an easy time for me, and things are not going as they should." Sport24.az reports that these words were written by Mahir Emreli, a football player of the Azerbaijani national team playing for the German club "Kaiserslautern", on his personal Instagram account.
The 28-year-old striker talked about his situation at the II Bundesliga representative:
"I haven't been playing in my club lately for reasons beyond my control... This also affects my game in the national team. But I never get discouraged. I focus on my work with patience, faith, and training. On this path, my biggest support was my national team, the trust and support of our head coach. Their trust is both a responsibility and a motivation for me. The important thing is not to stop. No road is easy... The last three games are also the beginning of a new and promising path."
Emreli also appealed to the fans:
"Of course, this path will not be easy either. But you, dear fans, are not just a voice in the stands for us. You are our will, strength, and source of pride on the field. Good days are ahead."
