Mahir Emreli's "Kaiserslautern" won 3-2 away against "Preußen" in the XXIII round of the German II Bundesliga. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijani striker, who was away from the green fields for a long time due to injury, entered the field in the 88th minute.
The 29-year-old footballer gave an interview to "Der-betze-brennt" after the match. Mahir stated that he wants to play more:
"It was a difficult time for me. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who helped me in recent months and supported me during the rehabilitation process. I currently feel 85-90 percent ready. My motivation is 100 percent. I want to play more. I hope to score a few more goals this season."
It should be noted that Mahir Emreli had not participated in Kaiserslautern's games since November 2025.
