Azerbaijani national football player Mahir Emreli does his best even if he plays for five minutes at the German club "Kaiserslautern".
According to "Report", the 28-year-old striker said this in a statement to "Treffpunkt-betze" publication.
The forward talked about scoring a goal in the XXVI round of the II Bundesliga against "Karlsruhe":
"The fans sent a lot of messages. They showed that they believed in me. The derby atmosphere is different from other matches. I have a good relationship with the head coach. When I was injured, I stayed away from the team a little. I asked the head coach what I could do to get more playing time. He is satisfied with my performances in training. Even if I play for only five minutes, I do my best and try to prove myself."
M.Emreli emphasized that signing the last goal of his team in the mentioned match was an emotional moment for him:
"Because the last few weeks and months have been a difficult period. Scoring my first goal (with "Kaiserslautern" in the II Bundesliga) in such a match, in a fantastic atmosphere, makes me very happy. Especially after a long break due to injury."
It should be noted that "Kaiserslautern" defeated "Karlsruhe" with three unanswered goals. Mahir Emreli, who appeared on the field in the 83rd minute, scored his team's third goal in the 90+4th minute.
