Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has spoken about former head coach Ruben Amorim.
"I can't say a bad word about Ruben. I like him a lot, I think he has excellent ideas. It just didn't work out at Manchester United. I believe he will have a fantastic career and will probably win a lot of games at his next club.
It just didn't work out and we as players have to take responsibility for that. But I think he steered the club in the right direction. I think he deserves a lot of credit for that, because he managed to build a good and unified team," - ESPN quotes Maguire.
Michael Carrick was appointed as the team's new head coach on January 13. He replaced Amorim in this position. It is currently unknown whether Carrick will be permanently appointed. Manchester United are third in the Premier League standings.
