Music legend Madonna has unexpectedly answered a question that the Spanish football club Celta has been searching for for decades. The pop queen clarified the fate of the jersey she wore at her concert in Vigo in 1990.
Idman.Biz reports that events accelerated after Celta President Marian Mouriño's open letter to the star. The club's management wanted to find out where the sky-blue number 5 jersey was that Madonna wore while performing at the Balaídos stadium during her "Blond Ambition" tour in 1990.
Madonna responded to the club on her social media account, saying that she still keeps the jersey:
"This jersey is hanging in my archive! I spiritually represent your team!"
It should be noted that Celta organized various campaigns this week to attract Madonna's attention. Even before the match against Real on Friday, the singer's famous hit "Like a Prayer" was performed at the stadium with an orchestra. The jersey worn 36 years ago is considered a sample of moral heritage for the club.
