"Lyon" has rejected Manchester City's initial offer for midfielder Rayan Cherki. This was reported by journalist Florian Plettenberg on the X social network, Sport24.az reports.
According to the source, the English club is preparing a second offer.
It should be noted that the midfielder scored 12 goals and provided 20 assists in 44 matches for "Lyon" in all competitions in the 2024/25 season. His current contract with the club expires in June 2026. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the player's transfer value at 45 million euros.
