Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has expressed his confidence that his country will win the 2026 World Cup.

"I am sure we will win this cup. I spoke with Ancelotti and I saw that he is an extremely serious and patient person. He only believes that those who are 100% fit will play, that he will not call anyone just because of their name - only those who play, train and are ready.
When the coach is serious, the players understand the responsibility they carry," the head of state said.
