Lukas Zidane, son of legendary footballer Zinedine Zidane and goalkeeper for the Algerian national team, has achieved a unique feat with the national team.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper contributed to Algeria's victory over DR Congo (1-0) in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations. Prior to that, Zidane kept a clean sheet in two group stage matches - against Sudan (3-0) and Burkina Faso (1-0). In the third-round match against Equatorial Guinea (3-1), Anthony Mandrea guarded Algeria's goal.
With this, Zidane became the first goalkeeper in the history of the Algerian national team to keep a clean sheet in his first three debut matches of the Africa Cup of Nations.
It should be noted that the "goalkeeper" can further improve the indicator in the 1/4 final match with Nigeria.
