Milan midfielder Luka Modrić has been named Croatian Footballer of the Year for 2025. Sport24.az reports that the award was presented to Modrić last week by the Croatian Football Association.
The 40-year-old Croatian has won this award for the 14th time in his career, the tenth time in a row.
It should be noted that Modrić joined Milan as a free agent last summer. Before that, he wore the Real Madrid jersey for 13 seasons and won 27 trophies with the Madrid club: four Spanish League titles, six Champions League titles, three Spanish Cups and four Spanish Super Cups, five UEFA Super Cups, six Club World Cups and one Intercontinental Cup. In 2018, Modrić was awarded the Ballon d'Or.
