Luka Modrić, midfielder for the Italian club "Milan", appeared in the Serie A Round XXX match against "Torino".
"Report" informs that with this appearance, the 40-year-old footballer has become the second player in the last 18 years to play more than 550 matches in Europe's "Top-5" leagues.
In the match that ended with a 3:2 victory for the "Rossoneri", the Croatian midfielder was in the starting lineup and played the entire match.
During his career, Modrić has played the majority of his games in Spain for "Real" (394 games). He also participated in 127 games for "Tottenham" in England and 29 games for "Milan".
It should be noted that the footballer with the most appearances in Europe's "Top-5" leagues is "Atletico" striker Antoine Griezmann – he has 555 matches to his name.
