During the Champions League quarter-final match between PSG and Liverpool (2:0), a strange ritual performed by Luka Hernandez before the substitution was noticed.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the French footballer came on in the 88th minute to replace Usman Dembele.
Before replacing his national team teammate, Hernandez filled his mouth with water, swished it around, and then spat on his hands. He then washed his face with the resulting mixture.
