24-year-old goalkeeper Luka Chevalier, despite playing for PSG, may lose his chance to be called up to the French national team.
According to Idman.Biz, the national team's coaching staff is concerned about his lack of playing time - in recent matches, he remains on the bench instead of being in the starting lineup, with Matvey Safonov being preferred over him.
If the situation does not change in the near future, Chevalier's chances of participating in the March training camp are minimal. It is unlikely that the national team's head coach, Didier Deschamps, will include a goalkeeper with weak playing time in the tournament squad.
Nevertheless, the national team's goalkeeping coach, Franck Raviot, is considering alternative options. Potential candidates include Jean Butze from "Como 1907" and Robin Risser from "RC Lens".
Let us remind you that Chevalier has only played one game for the national team - he appeared in the qualifying match against Azerbaijan in Baku, which France won 3:1.
