Inter Miami's Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez has apologized for his actions after the League Cup final match.
Idman.biz reports that there was a commotion on the field after the game, during which Suarez spat in the face of a representative of the Seattle team.
"First of all, I want to congratulate Seattle Sounders on winning the League Cup. But most of all, I want to apologize for my behavior at the end of the game. Something happened that shouldn't have happened. I was wrong and I sincerely regret it. I feel bad about what happened and I don't want to miss the opportunity to apologize to everyone who feels bad about what happened there. We still have many seasons ahead of us and we will work together to achieve the success that this club and all its fans deserve to embrace everyone," Suarez wrote on social media.
