"Neftçi" is preparing to part ways with its footballer Luis Ortis at the end of the season. According to Sport24.az's reliable source, the head coach of the "white-blacks" Yuri Vernidub did not include the 26-year-old winger in his plans for the next season and conveyed his position to the club management.
Negotiations for a permanent transfer will not be held with the football player who was leased from the Paraguayan representative "Sportivo Ameliano" club at the beginning of the season. "Neftçi" is looking for a more effective player for that position in the summer "transfer window".
According to Vernidub, Ortis could not provide the expected benefit to the team in the attack plan. In particular, the low efficiency in the final pass and goal episodes reduced his chances.
It should be noted that the Paraguayan winger participated in 19 games (488 minutes) in the current season of the Misli Premier League and could not score a goal.
Thus, Ortis' departure from "Neftçi" after the end of the season has already been largely clarified. The club has accelerated its work on renewing the squad for the new season.
