Luis Figo's move from "Barcelona" to "Real" remains one of the most scandalous transfers in football history. To this day, no one has greeted the Portuguese in Catalonia when a pig's head was thrown at the "defector".
According to Lent.az, referring to foreign media, Figo was asked which of the current players of the Catalan and Madrid clubs he would like to see in his former clubs:
"I would like Pedri to move from "Barcelona" to "Real", and Valverde from the Madrid club to "Barcelona". They are excellent players, always at the highest level. Each of them is irreplaceable, both will be important for the team they end up in."
Pedri, by the way, could have ended up in the capital's club, not in Catalonia. The midfielder recently spoke about his unsuccessful trial at Real:
"Yes, I had a trial at "Real", it was strange. They told me that I hadn't reached their level, I just went home."
Would you agree to such a strengthening of the main rival?
