Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has said that winning the Champions League last season was a turning point for the club, and now repeating the success will be easier.
İdman.biz reports that, according to the Spanish specialist, Usman Dembele and other team leaders have set an example that inspires the entire team.
Before the Champions League opening match with Atalanta, Enrique said: "The first title is always the hardest, because the players don't fully believe they can win it. But we showed the way and now all of PSG know they can win."
He emphasized that after the historic success, the team has the confidence and experience needed for new achievements.
Last season, the Parisians, who crushed Inter 5-0 in the Champions League final, won the European Cup for the first time in the club's history. Despite Kilian Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid, the squad still includes players such as Dembele, Ashraf Hakimi and Vitinha. Enrique is confident that they will help PSG win the title of the strongest team in Europe again.
