Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente believes that the 2026 Finalissima needs to be moved from Qatar due to the current situation in the Middle East.
Earlier, the press service of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced the postponement of all football tournaments for an indefinite period.
"We understand that negotiations are ongoing. The main goal for society is to end the conflict, but if we are involved in it and we don't know how long it will last, then we won't be able to play [in Qatar] during that time. If possible, the optimal solution would be to move the match elsewhere," Mundo Deportivo quoted de la Fuente as saying.
