Head coach of the Spanish national football team, Luis de la Fuente, shared his thoughts on the big (3:0) victory over Bulgaria in the qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup.
İdman.biz reports that the Spaniards defeated the Bulgarians in an away match with goals from Oyarsabal (5), Kukurelya (30), and Merino (38).
"We had a very good first half, in which we determined the outcome of the match. In the second half, we intended to strengthen our lead, but we were affected by the opponent's tempo. We could have had a few more positive results, but the main thing is that everyone finished the match without injury. It was a tough game, and the next part will be even tougher," said Fuente.
In the next round, the Spanish national team will face Turkey. The match will take place on September 7.
