Romanian national team coach Mircea Lucescu commented on the match they lost to Turkey in the World Cup play-off stage. Sport24.az reports that the specialist said the following about the match that ended with a score of 0:1:
"It was an even game. One mistake cost us dearly. This mistake determined the result. We suffered a defeat we didn't deserve. I like the Turkish national team very much, they have good coaches."
The Turkish national team will face Kosovo for a ticket to the World Championship. Romania will not be at the World Cup.
