PSG footballer Lucas Hernandez has found himself at the center of a serious scandal. A Colombian family claims that they were exploited for a long time in inhuman conditions by the family of the French defender.
İdman.Biz reports that a woman named Mari told "ParisMatch" about what happened to her. According to her, she met Victoria, Lucas Hernandez's wife, in Colombia and received a job offer in Europe.
Mari stated that she came to Europe only with a passport, promising that the documents would be processed later, but this did not happen.
She was then asked to find additional workers, and Mari brought her family members to Hernandez's house. Her mother and she worked as housekeepers and nannies, while her husband and two sons performed security functions. According to her, family members worked continuously, without holidays, without documents and without rights.
Mari said that monthly payments ranged from 500 to 3000 euros (987-5921 AZN). According to her, family members were humiliated and treated like slaves.
The woman claimed that pressure and threats continued even after she and her mother were fired, threatening to send them back to Colombia. As a result, the family appealed to the court in connection with the matter.
The case is currently being investigated by law enforcement agencies. The scandal could create serious legal and reputational problems for Lucas Hernandez. PSG and the footballer's side have not yet made an official statement.
