According to "Report", citing "The Touchline" portal, despite the scale of the World Cup to be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19 this year, fan activity has not yet met the organizers' expectations.
The source states that the low interest in the tournament has become one of the main discussion topics for FIFA.
According to Forbes, ticket prices are also a point of contention. For example, tickets that FIFA put on sale for $155 are offered on intermediary platforms for over $1,000.
The most expensive tickets for the final game, sold for $8,680, can cost up to $57,000 on external sites.
It is noted that high prices are just one of the existing problems.
