According to the agreement, the 25-year-old player will defend the honor of the "old lady" on a one-year loan basis. The Serie A representative paid the Bundesliga club 3.3 million euros for this transfer.
It should be noted that Openda, a member of the Belgian national team, scored 13 goals and 11 assists in 45 official matches for Leipzig last season.
