According to the Rennes press service, Liverpool's future defender Jarell Quansah will undergo surgery.
Idman.Biz reports that the "Reds" bought the player from the French club in winter for approximately 64 million euros, but the transfer will be completed in the summer. The 20-year-old footballer injured his shoulder after falling in the Ligue 1 match against Lens (1:3) on February 7.
Although Quansah has appeared in 24 matches in all competitions this season, he has not scored a goal. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 20 million euros.
After 28 matches, Liverpool are fifth in the English Premier League table with 48 points.
