"Liverpool" does not want to release Ibrahima Konate, one of its leading players. Sport24.az reports that the Merseyside representative has reached an agreement with the 26-year-old defender and a new contract will be signed soon.
Konate's contract expires on June 30, 2026. He moved to Liverpool in 2021 after playing for Sochaux and Leipzig during his career.
It should be noted that "Liverpool" is one of "Qarabağ's" opponents in the Champions League.
The English club will host "Qarabağ" in the 8th round, on January 28.
