Liverpool's English defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that the defender, who is a graduate of the club, has played 352 matches, scored 23 goals and made 92 assists. Trent's contract with Liverpool expires this summer.
Well-known insider Fabrizio Romano said on social networks that the 26-year-old football player will move to Real Madrid as a free agent in the summer.
Trent made a few comments in his statement:
"This club is my whole life - my whole world - for 20 years. The support and love I have felt from everyone inside and outside the club from the academy to this day will always stay with me. I will always be indebted to you all."
"But I've never known anything different and this decision is about taking on a new challenge, stepping out of my comfort zone and pushing myself both professionally and personally."
"I have given everything in every day I have spent at this club and I hope you feel that I have given you everything during my time here."
