"Liverpool" lost to PSV Eindhoven with a crushing defeat (1:4) in the fifth round of the Champions League.

Lent.az reports that the victory goals were scored by Ivan Perišić (6th minute, penalty), Gus Til (56th minute) and Kouhaib Driouech (73rd, 90+1 minutes). Dominik Szoboszlai scored in the 16th minute for the losers.
According to the Opta Sport statistics portal, "Liverpool" has lost by a difference of three or more goals in three consecutive games in all competitions for the first time since December 1953.
Prior to this, in the Premier League, the Merseysiders lost 3-0 to both "Nottingham Forest" and "Manchester City".
From December 12 to 25, 1953, the "Reds" suffered three consecutive defeats in English league games – "Portsmouth" (1-5), "Manchester United" (1-5) and "West Bromwich Albion" (2-5).
