Liverpool Football Club has postponed the start of its pre-season gathering due to the death of its Portuguese player, Diogo Jota.
Report, citing The Independent, reports that the team was supposed to gather on July 4, but this did not happen.
The start date for the pre-season preparations of the recent English champions is unknown. The team is also scheduled to play a friendly match against Preston, a representative of the lower English league, on July 13.
It should be noted that the 28-year-old former Portuguese striker died in a car accident on July 3 in the province of Zamora in western Spain. In addition to the footballer, his brother also died in the tragedy.
