Liverpool is showing a firm stance in adding Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham to their squad. According to Sport24.az, the "Merseysiders" have reportedly stated their readiness to pay 180 million euros to the "royal club" for this transfer.
Reportedly, the English representative has already started initial negotiations with the Madrid club. Liverpool management values the player as the leader of the team's midfield line for a long time.
However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and club officials have firmly rejected the initial inquiry. The Madrid club is not making Bellingham's sale a subject of discussion and believes that it is impossible to replace him.
It should be noted that Bellingham, who joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2023, has played 22 games in all tournaments this season, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists.
It is worth recalling that the player's contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2029.
