"Liverpool" has accelerated its transfer efforts for the next season. The English representative has targeted a star player from "Newcastle" to strengthen the attacking line.
Idman.Biz, citing "Transfer News Live," reports that the Merseyside team is preparing to offer more than 80 million pounds (176 million AZN) for the transfer of Anthony Gordon. This interest is associated with significant changes expected in the team's attacking line in the summer.
In the 2025/2026 season, Gordon appeared in 37 games in all tournaments, scoring 14 goals and FIVE assists. According to the "Transfermarkt" portal, the player's current market value is 60 million euros (120 million AZN).
It is worth recalling that Gordon scored four goals against "Qarabag" in the first match held in Baku as part of the UEFA Champions League play-off stage, marking a poker.
