Liverpool fans have protested against the sharp increase in ticket prices for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "Foot Mercato" that fans are outraged by the club management's policy.
One of the fans expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation as follows:
"Anfield is not a billionaire's amusement park. When I was a kid, my dad used to take me there, and before that, my grandfather took my dad. Now they tell us that everything has to be more expensive because of "modern football." But Liverpool has never been just another club like the others."
He then added:
"When you start treating fans like customers, you betray the history of the club and the city. American owners talk about numbers and growth. We are talking about memories, families and generations."
It should be noted that tonight's match is crucial for Liverpool. The English team lost the first match to PSG with a score of 0:2.
